TikTok Trends October 2025
What would you do if you knew you wouldn’t fail?
If you knew that the silly little videos you film between school drop-off and dinner prep could change your life
…and that every 100 view video got you closer to your 1M view video.
That nothing you made was ever a flop. It all had value.
Would you finally post?
I spent the end of the week at a conference held by Suneera Madhani, a tech founder whose company reached a billion-dollar valuation.
There were keynote speakers on multiple topics — writing a book, leading companies while your hormones are changing in peri-menopause, and how stress isn’t situational it’s actually made by your mindset.
Of all the sessions of the week, everyone wanted to dig in on social media. They had questions like:
How can they build their personal brand? Should they boost - or not boost? How can B2B play on social?
In 2025, creators are writing the rules of opportunity and success.
That means YOU have a say in our culture, economy, and brands that win or loose.
Your talents to film, create, and connect are the ones everyone is trying to figure out and replicate.
You have a seat at the proverbial table just by pushing post from your phone.
Claim it.
Engagement on TikTok is up 30% year-over-year, and short-form storytelling remains the #1 driver of brand conversions.
On Instagram, Reels now account for over 40% of all time spent in the app — which means the algorithm rewards creators who simply show up.
You’ve already spotted the opportunity.
You are already right where you need to be.
Inside our Authentic Creator Network, I see the proof that blazing a new path with social is not only possible, but probable:
Sammi B crossed 20K followers last month.
Meg G was accepted into Facebook’s Monetization Program.
Tynaisha resigned a returning client on retainer — proof that consistency and being reliable builds trust.
I see the potential in the wins for our clients, too.
From storytelling that stops the scroll to bottom-of-funnel selling that feels human, we’re seeing what happens when social strategy meets soul.
One client was featured on Canada’s Shark Tank and made their first-ever TikTok Shop sales through our creator program — watch the high converting video here.
This is the time for brave creativity.
The moms building communities, not just content calendars.
The creators earning while being present for their families.
What would you do today if you chose to be brave?
Pop & Post
Cultural moments are one of the easiest ways to stay relevant on social media, and this week gave us plenty to work with.
Taylor Swift took over online spaces again with her new album "The Life of a Showgirl”. Songs like “Actually Romantic” and “The Fate of Ophelia” have been trending nonstop. Creators aren’t just using the sounds, they’re also recreating the showgirl-inspired style, graphics, and dances. Even the album title became a trend, with people making their own versions like “The Life of a Social Media Girl.”
I know today it's been more than a week since the album release, but remember! you don’t have to catch a trend right away. You can still join in later — just add your own creative twist.
Another big moment this week: the live performance of “Golden” from the Netflix’s Movie K-Pop Demon Hunters by Eajae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The song’s getting major attention and could even make history at the 2026 Grammy Awards, with nominations being announced on November 7. Fans are also hoping the film lands an Oscar nomination, so expect even more buzz, and likely some K-Pop Demon Hunters inspired costumes this Halloween.
And speaking of Halloween, it’s the perfect time to post themed content. Even if the season feels a little quieter this year, holiday content always performs well, it’s basically evergreen.
Watch out for: K-pop group TWICE has been announced to perform at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, alongside Karol G, Missy Elliott, and more. K-pop is massive, and when a fandom moves, social media moves with it.
Actually Romantic
Of course the first trend of the week had to be from Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Show Girl. This one uses a soundbite from her song “Actually Romantic” — and it’s already all over TikTok.
The lyric?
“You think I’m tacky, baby
Stop talking dirty to me.”
The vibe? Flirty, funny, and just a little bit unhinged (in the best way).
Here’s how it works:
Lipsync the line.
Add overlay text that isn’t technically flirting... but totally is iykyk
When you get to the "stop talkin' dirty to me" part, react however feels natural: smirk, laugh, or roll your eyes.
Here are a few overlay text ideas:
“I saved you the last slice.”
“I made extra, just in case you stopped by.”
“I brought you matcha from that place you like.”
Examples: Irish goodbye, Delivery, Baby, Mean, Shopping, Water, IG audio.
