TikTok Trends August 2025
This month, The Washington Post reported that Mothers are leaving the workforce in droves due to Return to Office mandates.
This is exactly why the creator economy works for Moms.
It’s accessible.
It’s opportunity.
It doesn’t have to take away from parenting responsibilities.
You couple this data, with the knowledge that the top 20% of Mom content creators make $100k or more, and you start to understand why becoming a content creator has become so desirable.
So how do you get into the top 20%?
That’s where things get really different from corporate America.
It’s not about ‘who you know.’
It’s not about Ivy league degrees, or ‘boardroom politics.’
And it certainly doesn’t have a glass ceiling.
Content creation arguably provides an even playing field.
Even though rules are different, as someone who climbed the corporate ladder and loved it, I can say there are some great learnings you can bring from traditional jobs into this creative world.
The biggest: discipline.
If you aren’t bringing the same discipline, time and focus that you brought to your traditional job, you probably won’t be fulltime successful in your creator job either.
I don’t mean discipline like do 20 pushups… but discipline in the sense of humility, consistency, professionalism, grit, and ambition. — that’s what I mean about discipline.
The kind of discipline you get excited about.
The kind of discipline where you say, man - that wasn’t easy - but I’m so proud I showed up!
Because each post is bringing you closer to your dreams and desires.
On to the content prompts and trends for the week!
P.S. If I’m being honest - I didn’t learn discipline from my parents, or school, I learned It from the workforce - and I don’t think I would have done it on my own.
I needed the professionals around me to teach me, to keep me accountable, and to give me feedback and goals along the way.
Even more so, I needed peers to believe in me and cheer me on.
That’s why I’m so passionate about what we’re building at the Authentic Creators Network. Join now so you don’t have to go it alone — Join the Authentic Creators Network, the content creator network of our CT social media marketing agency and get exclusive prompts delivered right to your inbox.
Dear School, Be Kind To My Baby
Well, summer's officially over. Now the kids are starting a new grade, and I have to admit, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic about it.
They grow up way too fast. I know that's exactly what every mom is thinking right now.
Just a quick reminder for any other moms going through this:
It's okay to feel sad. It's a pretty big deal. You don't have to act like it's nothing.
