Social Media Trends July 2026

Hi friend!

Big week over here…

I watched the first house I've ever owned come down this week. Having friends text me “YOUR HOUSE!” and neighbors send videos of the demolition was surreal.

Embarking on this whole new home build journey is a dream come true. I can't believe we're actually doing it.

And while one dream is breaking ground at home, another one is happening on my screen. I'm writing this to you having completed 3/8 live sessions in our Chaos to Content challenge, and I have to tell you…

I have spent over a decade doing this work behind the scenes. Building strategy for brands. Training my agency team. Getting hired to make other people's content perform. But this challenge is the first time I've really honed in on the art that goes into executing content, in depth, directly to creators. Strategy. Storytelling. The full playbook.

Putting it all out there makes me feel really, really fulfilled.

Here's a sneak peek at what we've covered:

Day 1: Your Creator Vision. Before you ever hit record, you need to know your what, your who, and your why. Everyone handwrote their vision: three key messages, a core philosophy in one sentence, and the content pillars that ladder up to it. We also busted a big myth: the algorithm does not punish you for taking breaks. Quality beats frequency, and clarity is what kills the decision fatigue that leads to burnout.

Day 2: Your Bio + The Content Funnel. We workshopped bios live (SEO keywords in your first line, one clear link, and prioritize your email list because you should own your audience, not rent it from a platform). Then I taught the four-stage content funnel: Attract, Nurture, Expertise, Promote. Think of it like a relationship. Attract content is hosting a party for strangers. Nurture is a coffee chat. Expertise is giving advice over FaceTime. Promote is a casual text recommendation to a friend. Every post has a job. Members audited their last 9 posts against it, and the lightbulbs were going OFF.

Day 3: Storytelling. My favorite. I brought in techniques from film and TV, like the "Save the Cat" rule, to help you become the main character your audience roots for. We talked about sharing from scars, not open wounds. We did a 15-minute story dump to build a bank of transformative moments. And we broke down the 4 beats of a scroll-stopping story: hook, stakes, turn, landing. All in 30 seconds.

It’s BIG JUICY topics, and hosting these sessions takes all of my mental energy. I keep thinking about how these two massive things ended up kicking off in the same week...

My house coming down so we can build the one we've always dreamed of….

A challenge going live where I finally get to teach everything I've spent a decade learning… not for a brand or a client, but for the moms in my community.

Both have taken years of work to get to this moment.

Both required tearing something down to build something better.

And both feel like the work I was meant to do, personally and professionally.

I am building a new foundation both in my personal life, and for my community.

I'm not sure it gets more fulfilling than this.

XO,

Lindsay
