Social Media Trends August 2026 + Posting Challenge
Hi friend!
I'm writing this to you sun-soaked and salty from a beach week in Bethany, Delaware…
There is nothing like toes in the sand with a good book to reset before a big week.
Speaking of books: I just finished Emma Grede's "Start with Yourself," and in book club we're starting "Rich as F***" by Amanda Frances.
Fun twist: I actually read it a few years ago, and then saw the author is now a Real Housewife!? Wild. Are you a fan?
But the real reason I can't stop smiling this week…
Tomorrow we kick off the posting accountability portion of the Chaos t2 Content challenge!
Prep is done. Visions are handwritten. Bios are optimized. Stories are mined and ready to tell.
Now? We post.
Here's how it works:
We meet live 3x a week to create together, troubleshoot together, and cheer each other on. Every challenger picks their race, and the ones who stick to it win merch prizes from me.
Accountability. Co-workers. Prizes. What more could you want?
And here's the best part: this is the PERFECT time for a new member to hop in and join the fun. The posting weeks are where the growth happens, where the strategy becomes muscle memory, and where you realize you were never meant to do this alone.
Come post with us. We start tomorrow.
XO, Lindsay
Social Trend of the Week
How Younger People See Me
If you’re in your 30s or 40s, you’re still young, not because I said so but because it’s true. That doesn’t mean younger people see it that way.
Sometimes they act like once you hit your 30s you’re burying yourself in an urn and spending the rest of your days wasting away until your time comes. So this funny trend comes to life when we realize we’re young, just not that young for our younger coworkers, friends, and family.
Examples: Coworkers, Younger coworkers, Fitting in, Vibing, Gen Z.
