TikTok Trends March 2026
In part two of my retreat recaps, I want to share about my Interview with Chelsea Delgado.
She’s a Mom of Two and full time fashion/lifestyle influencer in Arizona.
Throughout our chat, I had many takeaways.
Mostly, that her online presence is so authentically her.
What you get in person, is the Chelsea you get online.
(I can’t say that for every Influencer I’ve met, by the way.)
She’s outgoing, funny, stylish and beautiful.
She jokes about her kitchen being carpeted in person, she jokes about it online.
Interviewing Chelsea reminded me that being yourself online is the best way to attract an audience and build a brand consistently.
But “just be yourself” Isn’t the tea you’re looking for from me. Even though that’s what I preach all the time…
So I got into the nitty gritty of her strategy as a full-time content creator, and here’s what stood out:
1) How she thinks about platforms - Chelsea posts anything goes on TikTok. It’s her testing ground. She doesn’t think too much about It. She has prioritized Instagram for making the majority of her income, brand presence, and TikTok is just R&D.
2) How she plans and analyzes her content - Chelsea plans “one big post” that will require a lot of editing, etc. per week. She posts at least once a day, often 2x a day, and plans It all on paper - not In any fancy spreadsheets! Chelsea also only looks at her analytics 1x a month because she doesn’t want to get too consumed with the data.
3) You can pivot, get stuck, and grow all over again. - Chelsea started her account as a personal trainer doing fitness, and It has changed and evolved as she became a mother. She talked about being stuck at one follower number for almost 2 years. Normalizing what we all go through In our creator journeys… seasons. It was great to hear she had not scrapped an account, but just pivoted It naturally along with her life.
I have found a common thread in multiple Mom Influencers… the fitness background. I find It Interesting because they were entrepreneurs and showing a ‘fit lifestyle’ and that did well for them in the early days of Instagram. But as their priorities changed, they’ve just translated those skills into new narratives.
When I think of traits that make fitness professionals good Influencers, I realize:
1) They are very comfortable in their own skin and comfortable being in the spotlight.
2) They can lead and teach a class of individuals; they are good connectors and communicators.
3) They have discipline. They approach content creation the way they approach workouts, with consistency.
And that brings success.
I for one, am bringing more of this fitness instructor mindset to my content creation.
I hope this helps you, too!
Social Trends of the Week
No One’s Coming To Save You.
Contrary to what the title suggests, this trend is actually a shout‑out to the people who would show up for you no matter what! your mom, your dad, your best friend, a sibling, your partner etc.
Last year, there was a similar trend, but that one focused on the idea that we move through life on our own terms, and no one can save you the way you can. It’s interesting how multiple trends can grow from the same concept, it’s all about the twist.
Examples: Mom, Bestie, Dad, Dad 2, Parents, Nana, Mom 2, Stop you, Brother, Parents, Man
Taking myself seriously
This trend is such a mood. It completely flips the script on the whole "What’s your secret?" question.
People expect you to mention a supplement, an app, or some kind of magic shortcut to get your results, but the reveal, “Taking myself seriously,” shows that your results come from discipline and commitment, not a quick fix. This simple trend works to show how much you have worked to get where you are and how hard work does pay off.
Do you take yourself seriously? Show the world your wins when you do!
