TikTok Trends December 2025
This week felt like a collage.
Joy taped next to responsibility.
Beauty next to heaviness.
Nothing matching, but all of it real.
My best friend had her annual Gingerbread Party. I danced with my husband like we were 22 again. I closed two clients I really needed to close before year-end (deep exhale). I almost finished my Christmas shopping, which honestly deserves a small parade. I sat in a room in NYC with one of my mentors talking about building a better, more sustainable business. I interviewed two candidates who might shape what this company becomes next. I took client meetings.
I also finished All Fours, a book about identity, desire, reinvention, and the quiet questions women ask themselves in the middle of a very full life.
It’s Hanukkah. And the terrorist attack in Australia sits heavily in my chest tonight.
Brown University, too.
My heart goes out to everyone who is hurting with this terror over the weekend. Praying for you and sending love during this incredibly heartbreaking and senseless time.
Now that we are just two weeks away from the end of 2025, I am so focused on building for the future. This year was hard on me in the business, but I’m also incredibly grateful for what I have learned and the joy I got to experience from my family and friends along the way. I can do hard things simply because I have them by my side.
I’m narrowing in our vision to become the go-to social media agency and creator community for serving Moms and Intend to make big strides this upcoming year.
But I need your help to get it right.
If you’re a Millennial or Gen Z mom, I want to hear from you so that I can shape our work to meet your needs and build an online culture that feels supportive and entertaining for you.
Take this 10-minute-survey, and tell me what YOU really want as a Mom.
I promise it’s fun questions that will give you a moment of introspection and focus on yourself when you’ve beeen busy thinking about everyone else this season :)
Oh and one participant will be randomly selected for a $100 Amazon Gift Card.
Xo,
Lindsay
Turn The Lights Off
If you’re a millennial or Gen Z mom who is even slightly chronically online, you’ve definitely seen this trend.
Someone says something good happened, like the baby finally napped, or a brand emailed back, and then they close their eyes. Cut to Jon Hamm absolutely losing himself on a club dance floor.
It’s quick, it’s random, and it lives rent-free on everyone’s For You Page.
The dancing scene is from the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors. It shows up in episode eight. Jon Hamm’s character goes to a club, and the scene is so oddly joyful that TikTok grabbed it and never let go.
The music used in the scene It’s a remix of “Turn the Lights Off” by Kato Feat Jon.
You can grab the video here.
Some starter ideas:
“Me when the toddler eats the dinner I made.”
“Me when my partner says ‘I already took out the trash.’”
“Me when relax at the spa after a busy time.’”
It’s a simple format, easy to film, and lets you show up authentic without giving a whole speech. Jon’vibin speak louder than words.
Examples: Morning Coffee, Night out, Final destination, Mom, Millenial mom, IG, Husband.
